• PHCA is extremely effective when impregnated onto a Calcium source. When applied, it works immediately aiding the plant in solubilising the applied Calcium and the accumulated Calcium in the soil from previous applications.
• PHCA shows consistent performance in increasing root development, increasing plant health, vigour and nutrient translocation.
Pure, ultra-fine ground pelletised calcium carbonate is impregnated with 2% PHCA, a proprietary organic acid. PHCA enhances the plant’s ability to convert both the applied and stored calcium into an immediately available form for plant uptake and soil pH adjustment.
SOLU-CAL® products utilise cutting edge Carboxy technology PHCA. PHCA (Polyhydroxycarboxylic Acid) is widely used in agriculture as an additive to fertiliser applications to significantly enhance the uptake of macro and micro-nutrients. Research on crops consistently shows a 30% increase in nutrient uptake, and also translocation through the plant when PHCA is combined with fertility applications. PHCA acts as a nutrient mining agent assisting the plant to solubilise applied nutrients and accumulated nutrients already present in the soil.
SOLU-CAL Enhanced Calcitic Lime

Application rates:
Corrective applications: 250 - 500 kg/ha
Maintenance applications: 250 kg/ha
SOLU-CAL S Enhanced Calcium Sulfate (Gypsum)
· Used in place of traditional powdered gypsum products
· Increases aeration of soil, creating pore space
· Displaces sodium ions from the soil, aiding in leaching out excessive salt
· Ideal source of Calcium when pH correction is not needed
· Available in greens grade (SGN 70) and coarse grade (SGN 210)
Application rates:
Corrective applications: To correct high sodium or magnesium levels or to loosen clay soils apply 250 - 500 kg/ha once or twice a year.
Maintenance applications: To maintain optimum growing conditions apply 250 kg/ha during the summer.
SOLU-CAL Mag (Dolomitic Lime)
· Used in place of traditional powered dolomite lime
· Contains 10% magnesium
· 80% less dust than traditional dolomite products
· Available in coarse grade (SGN 210) only
Application rates:
Corrective applications: 250 - 500 kg/ha
Maintenance applications: 250 kg/ha
K-CAL PLUS 0-0-24
· High K (sulphate of potash) with 4% Mg
· Contains SOLU-CAL S (gypsum)
· Excellent product for correcting K and Ca deficiencies without increasing pH
· Available in greens grade (SGN 70) and coarse grade (SGN 210)
Application rates:
Corrective applications: 250 - 500 kg/ha
Maintenance applications: 250 kg/ha
Sulphur MAXX Soil pH Reducer
· Reduces pH more efficiently than regular sulphur
· Adds soluble Ca to relieve excess sodium
· Dust-free fairway sized granule (SGN 190)
· Targets high pH and sodium soils
Applications rates: Apply Sulphur MAXX in conjunction with core aeration. Do not apply when turf is under heat and/or drought stress. Water-in thoroughly after application.
Over turf application: 15 bags (340 kg) per hectare or for incorporating into soil apply at 30 bags (680 kg) per hectare.
